The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is insight. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, if you scoff, you alone will bear it.
If a man repented not, and remained and died an enemy to God, the demands of divine justice do awaken his mortal soul to a lively sense of his own guilt, which do fill his breast with guilt, and pain, and anguish, which is like an unquenchable fire, whose flames ascended up forever and ever. Mercy will not claim that man; therefore his final doom is to endure a never ending torment.
O, all ye old men, and also young men of this generation, and you little children who can understand my words, for I your Lord Christ have spoken plainly unto you that ye may understand, pray unceasingly, that ye shall awake to a remembrance of the awful situation of those that have fallen into transgression and died in their sins.
My Father and I desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep my commandments. For behold, they are blessed in all things; both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to end, they are received into heaven, and will dwell with me in a state of never-ending happiness.
