Oracle 2
Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune with tyranny. What then shall I say to these things? Is God being for you who can be against you? He who did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up. How shall He not with him also freely give you all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who condemns? It is I who died, and furthermore resurrected, who is even at the right hand of God. Who shall separate you from my love? Shall tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword behoove you? "For your sake you are killed all day long, you are accounted as sheep for the slaughter"
Come, behold the works of God, who has made desolation on the earth; I make wars cease to the end of the earth, I break the bow, cut the spear in two, and burn chariots in fire.
Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations and earth will exalt me! Christ is with you.
I beseech you therefore, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Rejoicing in hope and patient in tribulations.
By mighty signs and wonders, by the Spirit of God from heaven preach my Gospel. Those who have ears let them understand.
